VIRTUAL BUT REAL_ AN EXCURSION  INTO THE METAVERSE

'Have you ever purchased perfume online that you have neither smelled, worn or emotionally owned? Welcome to the Metaverse!' - Christof Baron (Managing Director of the Nayoki Group) lead into his theme of the 'Metaverse: the Über Internet' and with it the first of four presentations. As one of the best known Media Managers in the digital sector in Germany, he explained how the link between the analogue and the virtual world works via Gamification and how it is also likely that this, as a result, will result in change to the working world.

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE IS KEY_

Julian A. Kramer (Head of Heads – Director University Partnership & Thought Leadership CEE at Adobe) followed his central statement 'Every Brand has a Customer Experience – If you like it – or not', stimulating a re-think. Kramer referred to the changed user experience and the concomitant challenges for businesses. For him, data plus empathy, automation, creativity, management and customer centralisation are cross-channel success factors between the digital and the real world.

HOW FAKE IS YOUR FAME_?

The final speaker is in the best position to answer this question – Rezo (entrepreneur, web video producer, 'political destroyer', influencer and much more). In his presentation Rezo explained why and how influencers mislead their size in the social media cosmos and to what extent this is a problem. In order to get important, measurable social media figures including views, likes, followers etc., botting, and also the generation of fake screenshots or links to groups as well as prize draws play a key role in the field of manipulation. In a follow-up short interview between Stephan Fehkse (Managing Director of addfame GmbH) and Rezo this crucial was answered too: Will influencer marketing still be justifiable in the future too? YES!

AFTERPARTY_

After exciting and interesting presentations, the event area became a cosy location with a lounge and club ambience. With atmospheric, musical accompaniment from band Azas Lounge, guests were able to enjoy a delicious drink and also excellent catering. The well-known tombola was held for the not-for-profit initiative 'Du musst kämpfen', in support of children and young people suffering from cancer, with over 2,000.00 Euro raised. The evening was rounded off with special gin tastings and delicious cocktails – and later the dance floor opened up with music from DJ Jens Witzig. The bottom line for the event – once again it was a successful evening, with exciting themes, interesting dialogue partners and a fantastic atmosphere – many thanks go to the speakers and the guests for a lovely evening!
